AURON HFE-72DE – Cleaning Agent for Precision Cleaning

AURON HFE-72DE is a high-performance industrial cleaning fluid designed for demanding precision cleaning processes. The azeotropic mixture of hydrofluoroethers (HFE) and trans-1,2-dichloroethylene (t-DCE) combines high cleaning performance with low surface tension and fast, residue-free drying.

With a boiling point of just 43 °C, AURON HFE-72DE is particularly suitable for immersion cleaning and vapor degreasing of complex and finely structured components.

AURON HFE-72DE is a suitable alternative for applications in which 3M Novec™ 72DE has been used to date.

As a true azeotrope, the fluid maintains a constant vapor and liquid composition at its boiling point. This means that its composition remains consistent during the transition between the liquid and vapor phases – an important advantage for reproducible cleaning processes.

The combination of high solvency, low viscosity and a surface tension of just 19 mN/m allows the cleaning fluid to effectively wet even finely structured and complex components.
