Coolant & heat transfer
For use in cooling electronic components, battery cells and electric motors. Can also be used as a general thermal transfer material. There are two types of coolants. HFE (hydrofluoroether) based and mineral oil based. The HFE coolants are characterised by low boiling points, high insulating capacity, and environmentally friendly compounds. They evaporate during cooling and can be condensed again. Mineral oil-based liquids remain liquid up to approx. 250°C and transport large amounts of heat away cost-effectively. All liquids allow the use of live parts directly in the liquid.
