HFE-7100 Mixture is a high-purity hydrofluoroether solvent designed for electronics cleaning, precision rinsing processes, and industrial applications. This process fluid serves as a direct replacement for 3M™ Novec™ 7100 and offers excellent material compatibility, rapid evaporation, and residue-free cleaning.

The HFE solvent is used in electronics manufacturing, precision cleaning, and technical processes where sensitive components must be reliably cleaned or dried.

This high-purity process fluid based on hydrofluoroethers (HFE) has a boiling point of approximately 61 °C. The product is chemically identical to 3M™ Novec™ 7100 (CAS 163702-08-7 and CAS 163702-07-6) and can be used as a 1:1 replacement in existing processes.

Due to its low surface tension and rapid evaporation, the fluid enables effective cleaning of sensitive assemblies and complex components.

Hydrofluoroether fluids were originally developed as more environmentally friendly alternatives to CFCs, HCFCs, and other chlorinated solvents. They are colorless, low-odor fluids with low viscosity and good material compatibility.

The fluid can be used as a cleaning and rinsing agent as well as a heat transfer medium, carrier fluid, or dielectric test medium.

Particularly suitable for immersion boiling cooling of electronics, direct chip cooling, and battery cooling. Suitable for direct component cooling in closed systems, both single-phase and two-phase.
