Peco EGC FP is the ideal, PFAS-free alternative to fluorinated coatings such as Purocoat 17/02!

This ready-to-use, clear liquid is based on a non-flammable solvent and creates a high-performance protective layer with outstanding properties for demanding applications.

High-performance protective function

Peco EGC FP creates a transparent, smooth, and hard protective layer only about 500 nm thick and does not alter the color of most substrates.

Due to the low surface energy, liquids such as water, lubricating oils, and silicones bead off the surface while the protective film remains intact.

Thus, the coating offers effective protection against

• moisture and corrosion
• surface diffusion
• contamination and deposits

Peco EGC contains UV tracers that allow for verification of the coating result.

Contactability despite coating

One advantage of Peco EGC FP is its contactability, which enables the contacting of metallic contacts despite the coating.

Test probes can generally be used on all contacts. Masking of contact surfaces is generally not required.

Even sensitive assemblies such as button cells can be coated while powered, as the coating is electrically non-conductive when dry.
