A New Trade Show Concept with a Bright Future
From October 6 to 8, 2026, the EFX – Expo for Electronics Manufacturing celebrated its premiere at the Messe Stuttgart exhibition grounds.
Puretecs was also on site on October 8 to explore the new trade show format, keep up with the latest industry developments, and network with customers and partners.
With 165 exhibiting companies from 16 countries and approximately 4,800 visitors, EFX sent a positive signal for the electronics manufacturing industry at its debut.
Unlike traditional trade shows, the event featured an open, compact format that combined technology presentations, expert lectures, and networking.
The focus was on the entire electronics manufacturing process chain—from innovative manufacturing technologies, through automation and smart manufacturing, to the industry’s current challenges.
Innovations and Current Industry Trends
EFX offered insights into new technologies and solutions for an increasingly demanding electronics production landscape. Topics such as digitalization, automation, miniaturization, and efficient manufacturing processes highlighted just how dynamically the industry is evolving.
These developments are also of great significance to Puretecs. As demands on electronic assemblies rise, so do the requirements for reliable protective coatings, high-performance cleaning agents, and innovative cooling solutions.
In addition to technological insights, the trade show provided an opportunity to nurture existing contacts, reconnect with partners, and discover new perspectives within the industry.
Our Conclusion: A Successful Start
