HFE cleaner and solvent with transdichloroethylene
3M ™ Novec ™ 72DE High-Tech Fluid is specially designed for cleaning and degreasing heavily soiled surfaces for manual cleaning. The liquid is clear, colorless, odorless, non-flammable and has a low surface tension and has very good dissolving properties. The liquids are therefore suitable as carriers for oils in order to deposit them very homogeneously on parts in the immersion bath. Novec 72DE and 72DA are safe azeotropes. It is therefore an ideal replacement for ozone-depleting compounds such as chlorine-containing solvents and n-propyl bromide in many applications.
